 On July 17 2018, ACEPA and its partners (Socioserve and NORSAAC) held an Inception meeting with parliament to Launch the Dialogues for Change project funded by STAR-Ghana.

Cape Town – Last month, from 27-28 January 2022, African Parliamentarians Association for Human Rights (AfriPAHR) Steering Committee members came together in Cape Town, South Africa to deliberate and discuss the future direction of the network. The discussions include new strategic priorities to advance democracy and human rights for all, with a specific focus on freedom of religion or belief.

The African Center for Parliamentary Affairs (ACEPA) in partnership with NORSAAC and Socioserve-Ghana, has trained and sensitized citizen groups in the Northern and Southern sectors of Ghana as part of a project titled “Dialogue for Change: MPs and Citizens Working together for Inclusive Development”. “Finding the figures we need”: supporting data use for SDGs at the Parliament of Ghana

National Parliaments have a role in ensuring that the targets set forth in development agendas such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are achieved. In order to do this successfully, reliable data and information is required.  Parliamentary Research services and Committee Secretariats play a crucial role in the daily operations of legislatures.
